The bass are back up on the bank. The full moon should start the last wave of spawning. The trout bite is best by floating a worm down the water column using a water bubble. Fish are hovering around 10 to 15 ft. The best news is that we are open every day thru Easter Sunday.

Best Trout Spots: Eagle Point, fishing float and the buoyline triangle .
Best Trout Lures / Bait:  ? a crawler drifted down about 10 to 15 ft.

Best Cat Spots: No one is fishing them so this is just a guess: the buoyline off Eggert Point.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and nightcrawlers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft of shoreline.
Best Bass Lures /bait: Texas rigged creature baits, crawdads, White tubes, jigs and big Senkos.

Water Temp. 66 degrees on surface

Prognosis:
The trout inventory is strong and we anticipate good trout fishing thru mid-May. The spawning bass bite should be great with the warm up forecasted and the full moon.

The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be teaching trout fishing ...... 1 PM Sunday
