The trout bite is soooo good that even blind squirrels are getting nuts. Trolling produces the quickest limits but the fishing float, Sentry and Eagle points are the best shore spots. The uneven weather has kept the bass undecided but the predicted warming weather should kick them back into high gear.

The runoff in Hermit Cove had a few cats prowling the shallows. The cats were in the 1 to 2 lb. range.

Best Trout Spots: Eagle Point, fishing float and the buoyline triangle.

Best Trout Lures / Bait: orange Power Worms with  ? a crawler, slow trolled and Kastmasters.

Best Cat Spots: the buoyline off Eggert Point.

Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and nightcrawlers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft of shoreline.

Best Bass Lures /bait: Texas rigged creature baits, crawdads, White tubes, jigs and big Senkos.

Water Temp. 62 degrees on surface

Prognosis:
Our last 1000 lbs of Sierra 'Bows will arrive this Thursday. The trout inventory is strong and we anticipate good trout fishing thru April. The bass bite will be on by this weekend!!!! You can take that to the bank!
