The trout continue to bite very well with all the same spots and techniques as the last month.

It appears from cruising the shoreline that our bass are at their spawn peak. Bedded fish and cruisers are everywhere. If anyone has been fishing cats they are keeping quiet.

Best Trout Spots: Eagle Point, fishing float and the buoyline triangle.

Best Trout Lures / Bait: orange Power Worms with ? a crawler, slow trolled and Kastmasters.

Best Cat Spots: the buoyline off Eggert Point.

Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and nightcrawlers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft of shoreline.

Best Bass Lures /bait: Texas rigged creature baits, crawdads, White tubes, jigs and big Senkos.

Water Temp. 65 degrees on surface

Prognosis:

The trout inventory is strong and we anticipate good trout fishing thru April. The bass bite will be on by this weekend!!!! You can take that to the bank!

Last week the bass are full on spawn and prespawn. Bedded fish can be found everywhere. The trout bite was very good off the fishing float and orange Power Worms with ? a crawler, slow trolled between the fishing float and the buoyline. The bass are full on spawn and prespawn. Bedded fish can be found everywhere. The trout bite was a little slower but still happening off the fishing float on Orange Power Worms with 1/2 a crawler, slow trolled between the fishing float and the buoy line.
