TROUT

Anglers vying for trout during the rain were not disappointed. Trout were biting on yellow Hookup Bait and pink mini jigs. Siesta Cove and Siesta Point are popular locations for trout as well as casting off Eagle Point.

1,500 lbs. of rainbow trout is scheduled to be stocked this week! Please note: trout were not stocked last week due to inclement weather at the hatchery. Up to date information is relayed through our Facebook and Instagram channels.

PANFISH

Bluegill and Redear continue to bite on night crawlers and wax worms in Hermit Cove and along the campground shoreline.

EAGLE SIGHTING

Scott Barnhill shared this photo of the Eagles found along Cloister Cove. Will the Eagles be staying for awhile?

CATCHES OF THE WEEK

Ty Kurtz and his friend reeled in a few trout this past Saturday. Ty shared his favorite recipe for preparing his trout dinners: stuffed with mango and lemon slices, butter, garlic, green onion, salt, pepper, cilantro and the skin is topped with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper on both sides.
