TROUT

A total of 1,800 lbs. of trout was stocked this past week between Wrights Rainbows and DFG fish. Anglers were reeling in trout from Hermit Cove and Siesta Cove— including limits! Trout are being caught in depths up to 20ft. Anglers are landing trout with mini jigs and rainbow PowerBait.

Stocking update: 1,500 lbs. of trout will be stocked this week to replace the stocking missed during the week of Jan. 2nd. Please remember specific stocking dates are not announced, only week of dates (stockings occur between MondaySaturday). Poundage and dates are always subject to change. If a change would occur, it will be communicated through our Facebook and Instagram channels as well as on our website.

PANFISH

Bluegill and Redear Sunfish are being reeled in from Half Moon Cove and Eagle Cove. Meal worms and wax worms are the most popular baits.

CATCHES OF THE WEEK

Jordan Ong and Romel Patani each caught their limit of trout on Sunday with Mijo Minnows! Romel was back on Monday for fishing with his buddies Jorge Martinez and David Corrales.

They were catching trout with Gitzit mini jigs and rainbow PowerBait in Siesta Cove.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Kids Day is making its return this year on February 11th. Kids under 10 fish free for the day! They may also catch one fish each from the Kid’s Pond until the fish are gone. 1,700 lbs. of Rainbow trout is scheduled to be stocked for this event.
