TROUT

Many anglers left with limits of trout this weekend! Fish averaged between 1-3 lbs. with a few reaching 5 lbs. Trout were biting in Hermit Cove and Shadow Cove on Friday but seemed to move deeper as the weekend progressed. Mini jigs and orange PowerWorms were the most popular tackle for catching trout.

Another 1,500 lbs. of Rainbow trout will be stocked this week! The lake is open for boating and fishing every day through January 8th for Winter Break.
