Trout Bite:
The trout fishing was on fire this past weekend, with many limits and double digits caught. The hot spots were the Bouy Line and Cloister Cove. Nightcrawlers and Powerbait were the go to baits. Trout stocking has finished for the season although there are still plenty in the lake to be caught!

Bass Bite:
The bass fishing continues to be good, with many anglers reporting a lot of bass activity. Drop shotting shallow water structure continues to produce good size bass. Pitching Senkos and creature baits tight into cover has also been productive.

Catches of week:
Blaze Bautista of San Diego caught a 5 trout limit on the Bouy Line soaking Rainbow Powerbait. 5 trout weighing in at 8 lb. 1 oz.
Dave & Karen Dalton of San Diego landed 2 trout soaking Powerbait in Eagle Cove. One Lightning weighing in at 3 lb. 4 oz and a Tailwalker weighing 2 lb. 12 oz.
