Hello from your Lake Jennings!

The Lake Jennings first Annual "Tagged Fish" event starts this Friday February 21st, so don't miss out. A Big Thank You to those Sponsors who helped out with prizes to give all you lucky anglers. Thank you to Lakeside Bait & Tackle located right here in Lakeside for their support and donations. Thank you to Pure Fishing (A leader in fishing products) for their support and donations. Of course Lake Jennings will also have prizes to give away to thank all of you who have helped support this year's Trout season. The event will run until all the "Tagged Fish" are caught or the end of the season, whichever comes first. Rules and Regulations will be posted in the Bait & Tackle shop on the start date of the event and "Tagged Fish" caught during the week do not qualify. Starting this week, we will also stock "Lightning Trout" for the next two weeks. This will be the first time Lake Jennings has stocked this trout so do not miss out. This is a Rainbow Trout that is golden in color with a bright red stripe down their sides and a bright red gill plate. Enough about the trout, let's talk Bass. Bass continue to stay in close to the shorelines and we are well into a Pre-Spawn with water temps slightly increasing. With all the larger trout this year the bass could be looking for something smaller so this may be a good time to throw your smaller swim baits. Each week more and more Bass anglers are coming in to monitor what is going on and make plans for a good season. Sign up today at www.LakeJennings.org for the weekly "Fishermen's News."
