Hello from your Lake Jennings!
The bite continues with trout spreading out just as expected and the season moving right along as we near Lake Jennings first Annual Tagged Fish. There will be prizes to give away starting Friday, February 21st until all "Tagged Fish" are caught or the end of the season, whichever comes first. Rules and Regulations will be posted in the Bait & Tackle shop on the start date of the event. Bass continue to stay in close to the shorelines. Something a bit different this year is that when trout are stocked they just move right in with the group and swim around. Typically they charge, attack and retreat which they are doing, but afterwards they are either being protective or looking for one small enough to eat. Sign up today at www.LakeJennings.org for the weekly "Fishermen's News."

Hello from your Lake Jennings! This week was a sure sign that the Sierra Bow Trout have spread out with trout being caught all around the lake from shore and boat, including trolling. With the cool down and light drizzle the bite went very well. Don't forget that Lake Jennings will be stocking "Tagged Trout" soon with prizes being given out from Lake Jennings and Sponsors. Another change going on in the lake is a Pre-Spawn. This is a result of the lake not...... Read More

This week is much like the last one with Anglers realizing that the Sierra Bow trout can be caught in most coves around the lake. Typically the trout fishing gets better in the new year especially as we get into February. The weather has been a bit off this year but the water temperature is staying cool. There will be "Tagged Fish" placed into the lake at the same time there are "Lightning Trout" stocked. Check out the Notables" below especially the Limit...... Read More
