Hello from Your Lake Jennings: If this report seems like a Xerox copy of last week's you have a great memory. The bass are starting to eat topwater baits even at night. We think it's a little early but we'll take it. The best bet is dropshotting or Texas rigged baits and fishing the weed line. The cat bite slowed down this weekend. A few were pulled out of the brush.

Best Trout Spots: None
Best Trout Bait/Lures: None
Best Cat Spots: The backs of the coves where there is submerged brush.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Eagle and Sentry Pts. and the Shadow cove buoyline casting towards the dam.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn worms on the bank and green out deep.
Water Temp: 76 degrees.

Prognosis: The lake has picked up a few degrees which should get all the warm water species a little bit hungrier.
