Hello from Your Lake Jennings: Usually the leading edge of a front brings good fishing. Friday was marginal and the rest of the weekend was a washout for all species.
Best Trout Spots: Hermit Cove and Eagle Point.
Best Trout Bait/Lures: Nightcrawler, Power Worms, and PB.
Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove and the buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft along the shore.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Jigs and creature baits.
Water Temp. 60 degrees.
Prognosis: We will stock again on Tuesday with 1000 lbs of Sierra Bows. The trout bite is getting better and the bass spawn is on!
The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be at the Fred Hall Show at Del Mar . Drop by and say hi...

Bankies are only getting fish at Eagle Point and a couple of spots in Hermit Cove. Best Trout Spots: Hermit...... Read More
