Hello from Your Lake Jennings: Here is the hot trolling method: Drag a ? a nightcrawler with a small splitshot as slow as the motor will go for 1 minute, put the motor in neutral and let the crawler fall to the bottom and then repeat, Do this between Cactus Patch and Eagle Point. This produced a lot of limits! Shore anglers are not doing very well. Bass are being caught deep fishing uphill and are also being caught in 20 ft. fishing downhill. Lots of cats are still being caught at the buoyline.
Best Trout Spots: Cactus Patch and Eagle Point.
Best Trout Bait/Lures: nightcrawler.Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove and the buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: The west side of Sentry and Eagle Point also the riprap that parallels the launch ramp. Be sure that you are fishing in either 40 ft. of water or in 20ft.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Ice jigs and creature baits.
Water Temp: 61 degrees.
Prognosis: We will stock again on Tuesday with 1000 lbs of Sierra Bows. The trout bite is getting better and the bass prespawn is on!
The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be teaching the floating bait method for Sierra Bows trout. ...1 PM next Sunday.

Toplining orange Power Worms or silver Rapalas and the best is leadcore trolling at 30ft. with a nightcrawler. Shore fishing is not as good, but Eagle Cove is your best bet.
