Trollers started to get limits but it took awhile. There was a good late afternoon bite using rainbow PowerBait at Eagle Point. The trick is to use a water float to get out into deeper water.

Cats continue to provide table fare but you need a boat. Bass anglers are getting 1 to 3 fish by fishing in 40 to 60 ft. water . Jigs and texas rigged baits on the bottom.

Best Trout Spots: The middle of the lake.
Best Trout Bait/Lures: 'Crawler/Orange Power Worm combo dipped in Pautzke nectar.

Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove and the buoyline.

Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: The west side of Sentry and Eagle Point also the riprap that parallels the launch ramp. Be sure that you are fishing in 40 to 60ft of water.

Best Bass Lures/Bait: Creature baits and jigs.

Water Temp: 59 degrees.

Prognosis: We will stock again on Tuesday with 1000 lbs of Sierra Bows. Looking at these reports for the last few years and the bite was red hot by now. So we are on the verge of it busting loose.
