Hello from your Lake Jennings!

We are open Thanksgiving Day. The trout hid while our anglers tried to seek. The trout won again. We would have used dynamite but we did not want to disturb our campers. Cats continue to be the best bet for a fish dinner but you need a boat and to be in 8' to 120' of water. The bass bite is fair. Mostly dropshotting morning dawn worms or crawdad imitations in 30 ft. of water.

Best Trout Spots: Eagle Point and Hermit Cove
BestTroutLures/Bait: None
Catfish Spots: Cloister Cove (Bird trees), and the buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: The west side of Sentry and Eagle Point also the riprap that parallels the launch ramp
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Creature baits and 4" morning dawn worms

Notables: No fish over 3 lbs. or limits under an hour.

Prognosis: We will stock every week for the next 20 weeks. The trout bite should improve each week as we build inventory. Our bass and cats are still worth targeting.
Water Temperature: 68 degrees on surface.
