A few trout showed up at Eagle Point and Hermit Cove. Trollers are taking boat rides. The bass bite has been surprisingly good in 30 to 35ft. The key is to fish uphill and you get bit just as you hit the grass line. The runoff in Hermit Cove drew some cats out of deep water.
Best Trout Spots: Eagle Point and Hermit Cove
BestTroutLures/Bait: None
Catfish Spots: Cloister Cove (Bird trees), and south side of the buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: The west side of Sentry and Eagle Point also the riprap that parallels the launch ramp.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Creature baits
Notables: No fish over 3 lbs. or limits under an hour.
Prognosis: We will stock every week for the next 21 weeks. The trout bite should improve each week as we build inventory. Our bass and cats are still worth targeting.
Water Temperature: 68 degrees on surface.

Guys dropshotting for bass off the fishing float with 4" worms nailed a couple of trout. As predicted the trout anglers caught a fair amount of cats. The bass bite was not quite as good as last week but what we said last week still applies. The bass...... Read More
