Stocking: The past two weeks 3,000 pounds of trout from Idaho were stocked. The next stocking of 2,000 pounds will be the week of March 20th. So far this season, 15,000 pounds of trout have been stocked from Idaho and 2,200 pounds from DFW.

What's the catch?  Trout limits were caught on Eagle Point and the southeastern shoreline between the t-dock and big rock. Anglers were pulling limits from Hermit Cove per usual. Trout were biting on Salmon Peach Salmon Egg and Spring Green/Chartreuse varieties according to anglers. Judging by the photos, it appears the Bass spawn has begun. Sounds like Shadow and Cloister Coves were most active for bass this weekend. Shiners were doing the trick. No reports of panfish or catfish this weekend, but with the expanded lake hours we expect the catfish bite to pick up.

Conditions: The lake is full and the water is well oxygenated throughout the water column with the temperature being 57 degrees. Ideal conditions for trout! The sun is rising at 6:59 a.m. and setting at 6:56 p.m. For a complete weather report in Lakeside, click HERE.
