Hello from Your Lake Jennings: It was a trick or treat weekend with the fish playing lots of tricks and the anglers not getting many treats. A few trout were caught in the back of Hermit Cove and Eagle Cove. Roostertails and Blue Fox spinners actually worked better than bait. The bass and the cats were absolutely absent. We were hoping for a candy high but with the bass and cats it was " see ya later, bye!"
Best Trout Spots: None
Best Trout Lures / Bait: In-line spinners but use scent!!!!.
Best Cat Spots: The dam buoyline and Hermit Cove buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Chicken livers, mackeral and night crawlers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Target the bank, fish downhill with creature type baits.
Best Bass Lures /bait: Senkos
Water Temp. 68 degrees on surface.
Notables: No fish over 3lbs. reported or limits under 1 hour.
Prognosis: Our third trout plant is on schedule for Wed. November 4th . We will stock 1000lbs. every week for the next 21 weeks. Don't let the cool water fool you into thinking that you can't catch cats. There is no better time than right now to fill a limit. We are bringing back our twilight boat rentals. Motorboats are $ 20.00 for the last 3 hours that we are open. So you can get a boat at 2:15 PM for $ 20.00.

Lake Jennings Fish Report
Lake JenningsHello from Your Lake Jennings: Upfront reminder. We are open every day this week until Easter. 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Every fish in the lake decided to be difficult. The bass on the bank were decidedly noncooperative. The only ones that bit were in 20 to 25 ft. of water. One troller reported 17 bass. The trout were focused on one small area on Eagle Point. All the usual spots for the last month...... Read More
