The bas bite has remained unchanged since last week, it's been finesse fishing in 20' to 30' of water all over the lake. Still no signs of any breaking fish as of yet. Bluegill have been in creek channels in 15' to 20' in both the Barona, and Kimball arms. This past Thursday, Duane Gaballero of Lakeside, tamed one of the lakes giant blue cats, that tipped the scales at 54.8lbs. The behemoth fell for a green pumpkin, purple flake Yamamoto flappin' hog fished in the marina.

The bass bite was fair last week, most fish coming out 20' to 35' of water on finesse baits. Quite a few suspended largemouth following silversides. It shouldn't be long for the bait to get pushed to the surface, with the largies feeding up on top.
