  • Stocking: Stay tuned for information regarding trout season! Keep your eyes peeled for the Season Opener. We will be posting the stocking schedule and event details in the coming weeks.
  • What's the catch? It's all about that bass! Although catfish were prolific during Friday Night Fishing too. The best spots for bass this weekend were Sentry Cove and Shadow Cove. Anglers were using drop shot, Texas rig, and zoom worms. Catfish were biting near the boat dock in Cloister Cover and Siesta Cove. Nightcrawlers and mackerel were reeling them in. Blue gill were caught all over the lake from boats to shoreline. Fishermen were using nightcrawlers and meal worms.

  • Friday Night Fishing: If you keep coming, we will keep staying open late. For now, every Friday night from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. the lake is open for night fishing, boating and evening picnicking. Remember, full sized lanterns are required after 8:00 p.m. and the lake entrance gate closes at 10:00 p.m.

  • Campground News: Long term campsites are available through March! We have full and partial hookups available and some even have a view of the lake. If you would like to know long term availability or have questions, please call (619) 596-1333. 
  • Winners! Congratulations to Samantha Gonzales & company for winning the top prize in our campground decorating contest during the second weekend of Spooky Camp-O-Ween. Not done yet...the best is yet to come!
  • Super Site: Formerly our group area, the super site sits at the highest point in the campground with unobstructed views of the lake and city. There is parking for up to three vehicles, a fire ring, picnic tables, lots of tree shade, and a partially enclosed pavilion with electrical power. Tents only please. The Super Site is $79 Sunday-Thursday and $99 Friday and Saturday. To book the Super Site click HERE!
