  • Stocking: The trout season opener is November 20-22 and 2500 lbs. of rainbow trout will be stocked. This year, trout will be coming from Wrights Rainbows in Idaho. Stockings will be biweekly throughout the season to reach a total of 19,000 lbs. Ten percent of this year's stock will be over 3 pounds! The Bait and Tackle Shop is stocked with Power Bait, Hookup Baits handcrafted jigs, and other trout season essentials.
  • What's the catch? Bluegill were caught on nightcrawlers and wax worms in Hermits Cove and Siesta Point this weekend. A 4.5 lb. bass was caught across from the t-dock off of Sentry Point this weekend. Anglers are using drop shot and gold/black Senkos. Half Moon Cove and the t-dock continue to be hot spots for catfish during night fishing. They are biting on Mackerel and chicken livers.
  • Friday Night Fishing: For now, every Friday night from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. the lake is open for night fishing, boating, and evening picnicking. Remember, full sized lanterns are required after 5:00 p.m. and the lake entrance gate closes at 10:00 p.m.
  • Lake Open Thanksgiving Day: Work up an appetite before your feast and create a new family tradition! Take a holiday stroll around the lake or hit the shoreline for some fishing. The lake will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Boat rentals and launches will be available.
