Fishing Continues To Get Better Daily

Fishing continues to get better and better daily here at the lake! We are seeing large numbers of both Bass and Bluegill as well as Catfish being caught daily.

As far as the Bass they seem to be primarily feeding on the Shad, Crawdads, Bluegill and baitfish. Bluegill can even be seen feeding on the surface in the afternoon going after different insects that have fallen into the water. For bass, I’d recommend showing something that will allow you to cover water. Something like a square bill, underpin, swimbait, fluke, crank bait, and lipless crankbait ( rattle-trap). For Bluegill we recommend baits like red worms, wax worms, meal worms, crickets, SM Teasers and buck tail jigs. We also receive stock of approbation 1800 lbs. of Catfish that are being caught daily on stink baits, chicken liver, shrimp, and cut mackerel. Good Luck!
