Fishing Continue to Get Better Daily

Fishing continues to get better and better daily here at the lake! We are seeing large numbers of bath bass and bluegill as well as some fish with some serious size. The bass seem to be primarily feeding on the shad and crawdads at the moment. And the bluffly can even be seen feeding on the surface in the afternoons going after different insects that have fallen into the water.

For bass fishing we’d recommend throwing baits such as the underpin, blade baits, spinner baits, weedless swimbaits with or without spinner, swim jigs, jigs, and crawdad imitation baits.

For bluegill the primary baits have been red worms, wax worms, meal worms, crickets, SM Teasers and buck tail jigs.

We also received a stock of approximately 1800 lbs. of Catfish that are being caught daily on stink baits, chicken liver, shrimp and cut mackerel. Good Luck!
