Catching the Spotlight

We want to thank everyone who came out last weekend for Stockzilla! It was a great turn out and a lot of catfish were caught. Only 12 out of the 50 tagged fish were caught. There. Come on back for another chance at catching a tagged fish for a prize! We also want to thank our sponsors, BB&K, Greenbrier, ECBT, Whissel Realty, and Pardee Homes. Trout season is coming up fast. We will be holding opening weekend on November 4th and 5th. We will be stocking a total of 2,500 lbs. of trout that weekend.

Lake Lowdown

Avg. Water Temp: 72.0 °F

Water Clarity: 6 ft.

There are still plenty of catfish waiting to be caught, including tagged catfish. The two most productive baits over the weekend were shrimp and mackerel. The bass bite remains consistent but the water temp has been dropping slowly so look for a bait with a slower retrieve.
