Catching the Spotlight

Anglers have been taking advantage of all this great weather we’ve been having and catching a ton of fish. Jose Guzman (top left) caught this 6 lb. bass on a fat ika out of Lake 5. Derek Potvin (top right) was extra lucky and caught one of the many tagged catfish still in the Lakes. He won a free lunch for two at our Waterfront Grill. Izaiah Orta and his son (bottom) caught three catfish ranging from 2 lbs. to 4 lbs. Trout season is coming up fast. We will be holding opening weekend on November 4th and 5th. We will be stocking a total of 2,500 lbs. of trout that weekend.

Lake lowdown

Avg. Water Temp: 72.5 °F
Water Clarity: 4 ft.

The weather has been great here at the Lakes and the water temperature has been staying fairly constant. Bass are still biting on soft plastics. Catfish have been biting primarily on shrimp. Anglers pursuing either of these species have been doing very well.
