CATFISH BITE:
Another stellar week of catfishing at Lake Jennings! This weeks stocking of 1,000 pounds, will bring us to a grand total of 6,000 pounds of Catfish stocked to date. Catfish have been biting on anything and everything! Anglers targeting the kittys have been using Mackerel, Dough Bait, and Nightcrawlers. Target the coves and points, in 15 to 40 feet of water. If you are new to fishing, and want success, please stop by our Bait and Tackle Shop for all your fishing needs!
BASS BITE:
The Bass bite remains good, with anglers reporting Bass going after surface baits. Anglers were targeting Bass in shallow waters using Flukes and Jerk-baits. Drop Shoting plastics and Carolina-rigged creature baits are also producing Bass.
TROUT AND PANFISH
The T-Dock continues to produce late season trout. Bluegill have been reported biting all over the lake!!
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Joey of San Diego caught a nice 6 pound Catfish. Joey was soaking stink bait at night in Sentry Cove.
Christian Leon of Lakeside landed a nice 7 lb. 4 oz. Bass. Christian was using a Senko near Cloister Cove
TIPS AND TRICKS
Best Trout Spots: (Deep Waters) Buoy Line, Cactus Patch, Half Moon Cove.
Best Trout Lures/Bait: Nightcrawlers, PowerBait, PowerWorms & Mini Jigs
Best Bass Spots: Half Moon Cove,Shadow Cove, Sentry Cove.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Creature baits, drop -shot, crawdads & swimbaits
Best Catfish Spots: Deeper waters
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel, Chicken Liver, & Dough Bait
Best Panfish Spots: Coves
Best Panfish Lures/Bait: Mealworms & Nightcrawlers

Sunday through Thursday 6 A.M to 7:30 P.M. and Friday & Saturday 6 A.M. to Midnight (gates close at 10 P.M.)
