Trout Little was reported this week, as most anglers were preoccupied with the great Bass and Cat bite. But Jessica Dillard fooled an estimated 5 lb trout, pictured above; her largest caught ever, and also managed a 3 lb cat, Photo #1 for good measure.

Bass The Large-Mouth have managed to keep anglers occupied all week. Many verbal reports of 10, 14 and 17 catch and release Bass in the 1 lb to 2 lb range. Must be these guys are too busy to brag. Horseshoe cove was the best for that kind of action. Just ask George Burruss, Photo #2 who is visiting from North Dakota. He nailed a 10 lb 1 oz Large-mouth with a Drop Shot in Horseshoe cove. Other zones such as Pumphouse cove opening and directly across from the launch ramp were visited with success.

Catfish The Catfish have continued to please anglers with many limits reported. Nightcrawlers are the best bet. Emily Stewart, San Diego, had a good day 2 cats, 3 bass and 4 blue gills.

Blue Gill The 'Gills' are back. Geezer cove has provides many opportunities for success. Cabin cove has also fared well with small hooks and segments of Nightcrawlers.

Crappie The Crappies have moved away from shore and have been found in the deeper waters near the Dam using small jigs.

Carp These fish are being caught on a more regular basis while anglers are looking for meatier fair.
