Hello from your Lake Jennings!
Bass are on the bank with their mouths shut. The trout are between the boat dock and the fishing float and in the back of Eagle Cove. Flylining a crawler where you see fish is working only a little bit but drifting one at 50 ft. has produced limits. Make sure you ask when you get here on where to go. Several nice cats (largest 5-0 ) were caught at the bird trees by an angler who wants to remain anonymous.

Best Catfish Spots: Bird Trees
Best Catfish Bait: Nightcrawlers
Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft. along the bank
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Crawdads and creature baits
Best Trout Spots: Between the boat dock and the fishing float
Best Trout Bait: The bait that catches the most trout is nightcrawlers

Notables: Catfish up to 5lbs at the Bird Trees

Prognosis: Someone on the radio show " Let's Talk Hookup" Sunday, to paraphrase "I'd rather go fishing after a time that was slow that go after when it was red hot".... I have experienced it myself and based on that fact means that next week should be great.

Hello from your Lake Jennings! Fishing overall was only fair with the exception of the bass. About 20 % are on the bank. The rest are staged off the flats in 25 to 15 ft. of water. Only a few spots produced trout. Make sure you ask, when you get here, on where to go. Best Catfish Spots: No reports Best Catfish Bait: No reports Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft. along the bank. Hello from your Lake Jennings: It was not good for any species. Sunday afternoon the water got up to 63 and a few more bass moved into the shallows. Not many nests, mostly stagers. The trout was hit and miss. Interestingly deep trollers and nightcrawlers about 3 ft under a bobber worked. The trout were feeding on bees on the surface. Best Catfish Spots: Anywhere along the dam buoyline Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally Best Bass Spots: ...... Read More
