Hello from your Lake Jennings! Fishing overall was only fair with the exception of the bass. About 20 % are on the bank. The rest are staged off the flats in 25 to 15 ft. of water. Only a few spots produced trout. Make sure you ask, when you get here, on where to go.

Best Catfish Spots: No reports
Best Catfish Bait: No reports
Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft. along the bank.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Crawdads and creature baits
Best Trout Spots: The big buoy at the Hermit Cove buoyline.
Best Trout Bait: The bait that catches the most trout is orange mousetail or Power Bait

Prognosis: The waxing moon has pushed the bite to later in the day for all species.
Water Temperature: 63 degrees on surface.

Hello from your Lake Jennings: It was not good for any species. Sunday afternoon the water got up to 63 and a few more bass moved into the shallows. Not many nests, mostly stagers. The trout was hit and miss. Interestingly deep trollers and nightcrawlers about 3 ft under a bobber worked. The trout were feeding on bees on the surface.
