Dres Card called in to wrap up the Pacific Queen 1 Day Trip, "We had a nice day here on the water, beautiful flat calm weather. Just enough breeze to keep you cool. We ended up with 66 Bluefin and 5 Dorado. There is a good sign of Bluefin around and there are some good kelps around. We never got going on the kelps because we were looking at so much Bluefin.

8-13-2012Derew Card checked in from the pacific Queen on Monday evening, " We had a great day out on the water. We put together a nice catch. We got 77 Yellowtail, 46 Bluefin tuna and 5 Mahi Mahi. It was a really nice day out here, nice weather, great people. That Bluefin is an excellent grade, I'd say the small ones run 14 to 18 lbs. and there a some that are probably as big as 35 lbs. There is a good sign of tuna here locally within 1 Day range. There are lot of fish around, a lot of fish on kelp patties, a lot of Bluefin tuna around.
