Hello from Your Lake Jennings: It was just fair in the catching department for bass and cats. The cats seem to be starting to move out into deeper water. We saw cats caught in the brush and also at the Hermit Cove buoy line. A few bass were caught on big frogs right at sunset but overall the surface bite isn't. Dropshotting in 30 ft of water is still your best bet.

Best Cat Spots: The backs of the coves where there is submerged brush.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Eagle and Sentry Pts. and the Shadow cove buoyline casting towards the dam. backs of the coves with topwater stuff.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn worms.
Water Temp: 79 degrees

Prognosis: Lately my crystal ball has been letting me down so no prognosticating this week.
