Hello from your Lake Jennings!: The trout bite continues to be fair with some limits being caught. Trolling continues to be your best bet. The bass bite is doing better but no notables reported this weekend. Cats are moving and being caught around the bouyline.
Best Trout Spots: Hermit Cove and Eagle Point
Best Trout Lures/Bait: Nightcrawler, Power Worms, and PowerBait
Best Catfish Spots: Cloister Cove and the buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft along the shore.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Jigs and creature baits
Prognosis: We will stock again on Tuesday with 1000 lbs of Sierra Bows. The trout bite is getting better and the bass spawn is on! Water Temperature: 60 degrees on surface.
Current Schedule: NOTE NEW HOURS OPEN ALL WEEK FOR SPRING BREAK!! Lake opens @ 6:30 AM closes for fishing at 7:30 PM
