Report from the Point Loma by Capt. Ron, March 4, 2012

Captain Ron called in with this report from te Point Loma. "I've started my halibut run and it has been pretty good fishing. Today we had 9 fish, the largest was 28 lbs. we had a lot of nice ones. We had 5 short ones. Yesterday we had 7 fish. There seems to be a few around. Yesterday our catch included some sand bass, sculpin and some pretty good brown rockfish.

"The boat leaves around 7:00 AM and gets back at 4:00. We are fishing Wednesday thru Sunday. The price is $66.00. Come catch a fat one, our big fish over the weekend was 34 lbs.
