Bill Cavanaugh called in on the Pacific Queen Day and One-Half day Trip with 22 Anglers this is what he reported. "We are on a spot of biting tuna here it is the best I have seen so far this year. We did have a couple of days where we got a bite, but it was short lived. This is acting different, it is biting pretty good and for an extended period of time." He did not know exactly how many they had on board but he guessed 70 tuna, most of which is Bluefin with some Yellowfin mixed in and they were still biting. Earlier they stopped at some kelps where they picked up 15 good quality Dorado and 6 Yellowtail.

The yellowtail fishing is incredible and very reminiscent of a couple of years ago. They range from 15-20 pounds with some bigger stand outs. What makes this kind...... Read More
