Last week the bass are full on spawn and prespawn. Bedded fish can be found everywhere. The trout bite was very good off the fishing float and orange Power Worms with  ? a crawler, slow trolled between the fishing float and the buoyline. Anglers throwing silver Kastmasters also caught trout.

Best Trout Spots: Boat dock, fishing float and the buoyline triangle .

Best Trout Lures / Bait: orange Power Worms with  ? a crawler, slow trolled and Kastmasters.

Best Cat Spots: the buoyline off Eggert

Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and nightcrawlers. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft of shoreline.

Best Bass Lures /bait: Texas rigged creature baits, crawdads, White tubes, jigs and big Senkos.

Prognosis: We will again stock 1000 lbs of Sierra 'Bows on Tuesday. The bass bite is on!!!!. The big full moon will kick spawning into high gear.

The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be teaching trout fishing ...... 1 PM Sunday

The trout bite was a little slower but still happening off the fishing float on Orange Power Worms with 1/2 a crawler, slow trolled between the fishing float and the buoy line. Hello from your Lake Jennings. Cat anglers nailed some 1 to 2's at the muddy water line in Hermit Cove. The trout bite shifted to the middle of the lake between Eagle and Sentry Points.
