Hello from your Lake Jennings. Little by little the trout bite is improving but can only be classified as fair. A couple of bigger blue catfish came on consecutive days. The cats came from 100ft. deep at the buoyline. Other anglers found some nice redears in the same spot and depth. Bass are in their deeper on the points mode. Dropshotting 4 " morning dawn worms or crawdads are your best bet.

Best Trout Spots: Cactus Patch.
Best Trout Lures/Bait: salmon peach Power Bait.
Best Cat Spots: Cloister Cove, the buoyline off Eggert Point.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and nightcrawlers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Fish the weeds on all the points.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Crawdads and 4 " morning dawn worms.
Water Temp: 66 degrees on surface.

Notables: Jerad Jerauld, La Mesa, 20-1 blue cat, buoyline, chicken livers. Sat., Evan Donley, La Mesa, 23-9 blue cat, buoyline, mackerel.

Prognosis: We will again stock 1000 lbs of Sierra 'Bows on Monday . The cats will continue to bite if you fish deep water.
