The bass bite really picked up, we had fish caught on just about any jerkbait that was tossed into a boil around the 80-100 ft. of water. Grassy areas and spots with structure continue to produce using anything resembling crawdads and colors such as purple and neon blue. We still have one month remaining until the start of our Trout season but the trout are getting anxious. Can you believe two were caught this weekend from the last trout season? Mt. Best Bass Spots: 15 - 20 ft on all the points.

Best Bass Lures /bait: Jerkbaits and anything resembling crawdads. 6" or 8" worms on the dropshot.

Water Temp.: 78 degrees on the surface.
