Hi gang, We picked up 22 albacore yesterday for me and 2 crew members. I saw a couple of good strips of water that had fish in it but never spent a lot of time in one place as I wanted to look at a few areas. We certainly had a few stops that we could have had a number of bait fish but with 1 guy on the tank, 1 guy winding in a troll fish, and myself winding in a troll fish made it challenging with four troll fish hooked up. All in all I liked what I saw and we are in Avila right now getting the boat all ready for our first trip departing tonight. Check out our photo page for pictures of our journey up the coast. Wish us luck, Bill Cavanaugh

Wow! I just now looked out the window and saw a blue whale fluke with Catalina island inland in the back ground...awesome! We have great weather and will be spending the day preparing tackle. We will be able...... Read More
