Wednesday Updates
- The Tribute reported in from their One Day trip with 22 yellowfin tuna, 4 skipjack and 1 dorado for their 10 anglers.
Tuesday Recap
Tuesday Returns
- The Tribute finished up their Overnight trip with 36 Yellowfin Tuna and 7 Skipjack. Captain Mike recommends #6 hooks and 20 Lb Fluorocarbon and 28g-80g sniper style jigs.
- The Highliner returned from their 1.5 Day with 150 Yellowfin Tuna, 141 Dorado and 3 Skipjack.
- The Aztec 2 Day Trip finished with 84 Bluefin tuna(limits) and 12 Dorado.
New Seaforth Half Day
- The New Seaforth has been on some good local fishing with a mix of bass, barracuda, and bonito along with very good shots at quality yellowtail! Anglers should come prepared with a 20-30 lb live bait setup and hooks size #4-2/0. Surface irons, stick baits, and small sniper style jigs have been seeing good response, while tube baits and fluke-style plastics continue to be great options as well. Rod rentals and licenses are available at the landing when checking in.
Sea Watch Schedule Update
- The Sea Watch is scheduled to run Full Day trips starting Thursday 9/3/26, departing at 5:30AM and returning around 5:00 PM. Yo-yo jigs have been the hot ticket but good to always have a 25-30lb live bait setup or surface iron rod. Make those reservations the San Diego has openings the first week of September! Don't forget those passports.
