Tuesday Updates
- The Tribute checked in form their Overnight with 36 Yellowfin Tuna and 7 Skipjack. Captain Mike recommends #6 hooks and 20 Lb Fluorocarbon and 28g-80g sniper style jigs.
- The Highliner returned from their 1.5 Day with 150 Yellowfin Tuna, 141 Dorado and 3 Skipjack.
Monday New Seaforth Half Day
- The New Seaforth's AM Half Day trip finished with 5 Yellowtail, 77 Bonito, 5 Calico Bass, 4 Barracuda, and 1 Sand Bass.
- The New Seaforth's PM trip returned with 12 Yellowtail, 16 Bonito, and 3 Calico Bass.
- The New Seaforth has been on some good local fishing with a mix of bass, barracuda, and bonito along the inshore zones along with very good shots at quality yellowtail! Anglers should come prepared with a 20-30 lb live bait setup and hooks size #2-2/0. Surface irons, stick baits, and small sniper style jigs have been seeing good response on the three b's while tube baits and fluke-style plastics continue to be great options as well. Rod rentals and licenses are available at the landing when checking in.
Monday San Diego Full Day
- The San Diego on their full day trip to the Coronado Islands finished up with 40 Yellowtail, 40 Bonito, 20 Sand Bass, and 7 Barracuda. Yo-yo jigs have been getting bit well but also good to have a 25-30lb live bait setup or surface iron rod. Don't forget those passports.
