Tackle recommendations for island trips: 

30lb flyline rod, a 40-50lb yo-yo rod and a jig stick. Remember to have fresh line on your reels and a pocket full of 1/0- 2/0 hooks. 6 oz torpedo sinkers and several yo-yo jigs like Salas 6x jr or equivalent. We are seeing lots of fish up on top in this warm weather so it’s also a good time for the surface irons. 

We are currently operating open party full day Coronado Islands trips seven days a week with departures at 5:30am and returning 6-7pm. Passport required.
