6 DAY OFFSHORE REPORT!!! EXCEL visited Guadalupe, Benitos, & Cedros. Flat weather. They ended up with 54 Yellowfin, 245 Yellows, 10 Dorado, 100 Red Rockcod, & Black Seabass(released) for 26 passengers. It was a Gallagher's Charter. Jackpot went to Ron Volmer of Hermosa Beach with a 78.2 lb Yellowfin. 2nd place went to William Lopez of Chino Hills with a 73.9 lb Yellowfin. Larry Diamont of Malibu took the third spot with 72.2 lb Yellowfin. Honorable mention to Chris Seabourn caught a 48.8 lb Yellowtail. Gary Sharpe caught a 46 lb Yellowtail. Great trip. 5 DAY OFFSHORE UPDATE!! EXCEL went to San Martin, Guadalupe, San Benitos with 32 anglers. They caught 107 Yellowfin Tuna, 321 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado, 1 Halibut, 175 Red Rockcod, & 7 Lingcod. The biggest fish went to Jeffrey Lee of Emerryville, CA for a 75.8 lb Yellowfin. 2nd Place was taken by Steve Virtue of Ventura, CA for a 69.4 lb Yellowfin. GUADALUPE/OFFSHORE REPORT!! EXCEL came in from a 4 day trip with 32 passengers. They caught 285 Yellowtail,25 Yellowfin Tuna, & 13 Dorado. Trevoe Kredell of Seal Beach hooked a 68.2 lb Yellowfin for the pot. 2nd jackpot was taken by Joel Silverstein of Seal Beach with 63.4 lb Yellowfin. 3rd pot went to Scott Schell of Santa Barbara with 63.2 lb Yellowfin.
