5 DAY OFFSHORE UPDATE!! EXCEL went to San Martin, Guadalupe, San Benitos with 32 anglers. They caught 107 Yellowfin Tuna, 321 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado, 1 Halibut, 175 Red Rockcod, & 7 Lingcod. The biggest fish went to Jeffrey Lee of Emerryville, CA for a 75.8 lb Yellowfin. 2nd Place was taken by Steve Virtue of Ventura, CA for a 69.4 lb Yellowfin. Dan Di Sepio of Carlsbad, CA took the 3rd spot for a 63.0 lb Yellowfin. Trip was sponsored by Eric's Tackle. Check their next available trip. Fish with the best. GUADALUPE/OFFSHORE REPORT!! EXCEL came in from a 4 day trip with 32 passengers. They caught 285 Yellowtail,25 Yellowfin Tuna, & 13 Dorado. Trevoe Kredell of Seal Beach hooked a 68.2 lb Yellowfin for the pot. 2nd jackpot was taken by Joel Silverstein of Seal Beach with 63.4 lb Yellowfin. 3rd pot went to Scott Schell of Santa Barbara with 63.2 lb Yellowfin. LONG RANGE UPDATE!!! EXCEL came back in from a 5 day trip with 32 Anglers. They brought in 91 Yellowfin Tuna(up to 112.2 lbs),44 Yellows,3 Wahoo,200 Red Rockcod, & 36 Lings. First place was taken by Richard McConehay(Van Nuys) with a 112.2 lb Yellowfin. 2nd pot was for Keith Elmer(Newhall) for a 110 lb Yellowfin. 3rd place went to Jim Miller(Bakersfield) with 103 lb Yellowfin.
