GREAT FISHING AT CEDROS!! EXCEL went on a 4 day trip with 33 passengers. Charter by So. Cal. Tuna club. They brought home 440 Yellowtail, 250 Red Rockcod, 50 Lings, & 10 Dorado. Jackpot went to Devin Dierenfeld(Santa Barbara) with 25.4 lb Yellow. 2nd holder to Curtis Herbert(Costa Mesa) for 24.6 lb Yellowtail and 3rd spot went to Ken Huss(Huntington Beach) with 24.4 lb Yellow. LONG RANGE ACTION REPORT!!! EXCEL went for a 5 day trip with 34 Anglers. They brought in 220 Yellowtail, 99 Albies, 36 Yellowfin & 29 Dorado. BEST OFFSHORE ACTION!!! They hit all three Islands -Lupe, Cedros, & Benitos on a 5 day trip. It was flat calm weather. Incredible Trip!! 34 Anglers scored 348 Yellows, 82 Yellowfin, 12 Dorado, & 2 WAHOO. Honorable mention to Dan Robinson(40.6 lb Yellowtail) & Norm Sogioka (42.8 lb Wahoo). 1st jackpot went to Edgar Garcia(San Ramon) with 67.7 lb Yellowfin. 2nd place went to Michael Young(Los Angeles) with 56.7 lb Yellowfin. 3rd goes to Jerry Stires(Hilendale) with 56.6 lb Yellowfin.
