Lake Lowdown
Average Water Temperature: 72°F
Water Clarity: 3-4 Feet

In honor of the trout season officially coming to an end today, here are a couple trout photos! It was a fun run while it lasted, however now it's time for the Catfish opener! Catfish opener kicks off this weekend with sunny, and clear skies. 2,500 lbs. of catfish are being stocked. 1000 lbs. in both Lake 4 and Lake 3, and 500 lbs. in Lake 2. The gates open at 6:00 AM and we anticipate quite the crowd so make sure to get here early to claim your favorite fishing spot! The best bait to use for catfish is stinkbait, cut up mackerel, shrimp, nightcrawlers, and our new garlic nightcrawlers. We have garlic nightcrawlers that are brand new. The bass bite has been very consistent lately as well. The best bait to use for bass is senkos, crankbaits, and even top water baits. We hope to see you out here!

Night Fishing Schedule

Make sure to bring a lantern and join us for the night fishing! Night fishing starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 11:30 pm. Annual parking passes will not be valid.
