Santee Lakes Fishing Report

Good afternoon everyone! This week our spotlight is shining on Iian who caught this rainbow trout out of Lake 4 using rainbow Powerbait. Our final trout stock was on March 11. There is still some time left to try and catch a trout! Powerbait is your best bet. A Kastmaster or rooster tail would work as well. We've also been getting a lot of reports about bass being caught. Our second spotlight below shows Aaron catching a 6 lb. bass out of lake 4 just the other day. Popular baits being used for bass right now are crankbaits, senkos, and jerkbaits. Get out here and rip some lips!
