It's been a long time since the loads have been this light and the fishing this good.
The fish are to 40 pounds with the average weight of 22 pounds. On the Sea Adventure 80 we are having customers walking off the boat with Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail, Albacore, and Dorado. We are fishing 100 miles from Point Loma, the stops are on Kelps, Turn Birds, Jumpers, Sonar Marks, and Jig Strikes. The best line size to use is 30 or 40 pound test in the beginning of the stops when the fish first charge the boat. Please call H&M Landing at 222-1144 and book your trip with the Sea Adventure 80.This type fishing is a very fast paced fishery, and it is very important to fallow or lead your fish. We can be hooked up with solid Yellowtail, and have 5 or 6 Dorado jumping out of the water and streaking across the top of the water. The bait has been nice size sardines, so plan on bringing down 2 ott hooks. It has been cool on the water too, about 80 degrees air temp. the sea temp has been 70 to 72 degrees. The party starts with your call for the Sea Adventure 80 (619) 222-1144.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE. You can give us a call at the landing (619) 222-1144 or call Scott at (619) 247-8971 to get in on the action.
