by Murray Reservoir Staff

Greetings from Lake Murray in the La Mesa area of San Diego County. Bass are spawning at this time and they have moved in close to shore. Look close and they are visible in the clear water. They have been biting off the north side of San Carlos Bay and near Del Cerro point. Green and brown robo worms with drop shot rig have been successful. Thawing blind shad with no weight on the top of the water has also been good. Bluegill and crappie are biting well. Shiners for the crappie. Good luck this week.
