Great Time of Year to be at Lake Murray

Welcome to Lake Murray in the La Mesa neighborhood of San Diego. It is a great time of year with the bass spawning and moving in closer to the shallows. Our bait shop & store open with tackle and live night crawlers and meal worms. They are also biting the robo worm drop shot rig as well as the Margarita mutalator with the Texas rig set up.
The bluegill bite is still healthy with small pieces of red worms and night crawlers. The cats have been biting on mackerel as well.

Some Bass Are Finally Showing Up
Murray ReservoirSome bass are finally showing up int eh shallows, their making their way up to the spacing grounds. Just the males are being caught, but the females are close behind. Vincent D.
