  • Stocking:  The next trout stocking of 1,500 lbs. is the week of April 5th. Only 2 more stockings until the trout season draws to a close. To view an updated stocking schedule, click HERE
  • What's the catch? The bass bite was strong this weekend. Most were coming out of Siesta Cove and the shoreline opposite the boat dock. Swimbaits and Brush Hog were doing the trick. You're going to need to be crafty to catch the trout. Our rangers recommend a 4 lb. test and chartreuse or green pumpkin Powerbait. Fish from a shady shoreline on bright, sunny days. Want to see an underwater view of our lake? Check out this video from California Department of Fish and Wildlife that shows how their artificial habitats are working in our lake.
  • Easter Eggs-perience at the Lake! The bunny will be at the lake before opening on Easter morning to hide his golden eggs with great prizes inside. Prizes could be fishing permits, hats, kayak rentals, etc. And then, catch a peek of the bunny barge! Socially distanced pics with the bunny are encouraged. Be sure to tag Lake Jennings!
  • Did you know? The idea of the Easter bunny giving candies and eggs is said to have originated in Germany during the Middle Ages with the first written mention of this tradition dating back to the 16th century. Dutch settlers in Pennsylvania brought the bunny to the United States in the 1700s.
