  • Stocking:  The next trout stocking of 1,500 lbs. is this week. To date, a total of 14,500 trout have been stocked in the lake. To view an updated stocking schedule, click HERE. Salmon Egg Powerbait is back in stock! Pick up a jar at the bait shop this weekend.
  • What's the catch? Trout, bass, and catfish were all biting on Saturday. The bite slowed down on Sunday. A 12 pound 10 oz. bass was caught in Shadow Cove by one of our regular bass fishermen. Another sizeable bass was reeled in on jerkbait (see pic below). All typical trout baits and lures were working this weekend; PowerBait, worms, mini jigs. Redears were biting in Half Moon Cove and Sentry Point. Wax worms and 'crawlers were doing the trick. No monster cats were caught this weekend, but the catfish were biting on mackerel and chicken livers. They seem to be hanging out on the south side of the lake from Siesta Cove to the Hermit buoy line.
  • Spring Photo Contest: This year's Spring Photo Contest theme is Life at the Lake. We welcome photos of camping, fishing, vistas, and people enjoying activities at Lake Jennings. Prizes will be awarded in youth and adult categories. The deadline for photo submission is May 31st. For more information about the Spring Photo Contest, click HERE.
  • Spring Break: The lake will be open daily for camping, fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking, bird watching, and more March 19 - April 4! We're offering free boat launches on Tuesday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 30. For information regarding our daily hours during spring break click HERE.
  • Fireside at the Lake: Friday nights are for campfires! We have lakefront campfire pits for rent from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday nights. Use fees and advanced reservations are required. Rentals include firepit, wood, firestarter, and Adirondack chairs. Ask about our add on packages! Firepits are available for single households only, 4-6 persons.   • Conditions: The current water temperature is 60 degrees. Water transparency is 51 feet. For a complete weather report in Lakeside, click HERE.
  • Campground News: The campground is open for new reservations! Tent campers are welcome too. Did you know that there is a 15% discount for stays of 7 consecutive nights? Book your lake view site by visiting our reservations page.
